The San Joaquin County Joint Radio Users Group (SJCJRUG) was formed in 2006 by the Fire Protection Districts of San Joaquin County, and is a Joint Powers Authority registered with the State of California. The purpose of the SJCJRUG is to accomplish a means for centralized contracting for communication needs, including dispatching, and centralized arrangements for the maintenance, repair, upgrade and replacement of communication equipment owned and operated by the Fire Districts.
